I love you for the romance you offered me

As you look approvingly on me.
I love you for bragging to others about me
I’m special, they can see.
I love you for the sound of your voice
As you whisper I love you.
I love you for the softness of your kiss
And sweet caresses, too.
I love you for the masculine way about you
It makes me crave being feminine.
I love you for your loyalty shown deep
For me and things I hold genuine.
I love you for making all my problems
Seem miniscule and few.
I love you for your ability to sing and dance
And make me laugh, too.
I love you when I am feeling sick or weak,
Then you emerge strong.
I love you for your interest in sports,
Keeping you out of my hair.
I love you for always being there for me
